Tuesday 16 June 2009 - Positive end to luckless weekend for Herron

Determined to conclude the first half of the 2009 ELF Renault Clio Cup on a positive note, Co. Down racer Andrew Herron produced one of the best drives of his career at Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire yesterday, Sunday, 14th June, to keep his grip on a top three championship position.

West Yorkshire teenager Daniel Lloyd had to mount a determined fightback during the 10th round of the 2009 ELF Renault Clio Cup at Croft Circuit near Darlington yesterday, Sunday, 14th June, after becoming an unfortunate victim of a multi-car tangle at the first corner on the opening lap.

Tuesday 16 June 2009 - Eighth podium of season for Clio star MacDowall

Carlisle-based ELF Renault Clio Cup racer Alex MacDowall posted yet another podium finish during round 10 of the season at Croft in North Yorkshire on Sunday, 14th June, while Total Control Racing team-mate Mike Robinson was also in fantastic top four form once again.

Second year ELF Renault Clio Cup racer Mike Robinson secured his first podium finish of the 2009 season at Oulton Park Island Circuit yesterday, Sunday, 31st May, with an impressive third place behind Total Control Racing team-mate Alex MacDowall.
